Women in Technology was founded in 1992 by and for women in technology.  It began as a venue for women working in the technology industry to meet, share ideas and support one another. Since then it has grown to become a premier networking setting for both men and women in the technology industry.  WIT's meetings and events have become the place that the technology community gathers to learn the latest trends and to recognize accomplishments.

WIT focuses on accelerating the career growth of our members and offers programs, events and initiatives to promote their advancement.  Each year, WIT delivers a series of meetings where the networking is superb and the speakers are enlightening.  WIT's events highlight the best of the technology industry.  Women of the Year in Technology recognizes outstanding contributions made by women to their companies and our community.  WIT Connect provides an opportunity for companies and individuals to promote themselves and their services to the leaders in Georgia's technology community.  Companies that have excelled in recognizing and promoting the talents of women are recognized annually as WIT's Best Employer.  The effort is rounded out by a series of initiatives designed to elevate the skills of our members and the Georgia business community.

WIT is committed to making sure that opportunities to showcase the talents and successes of women in technology are developed so that they continue to grow, along with the technology industry in Georgia.
