Farsighted leaders representing WIT, B&TA and SSA came together in 1998 to create TAG. So you might say, TAG owes its very existence to WIT and company. WIT and TAG have enjoyed a strategic and synergistic affiliation from the very beginning. TAG provides the overall impetus by supporting the broad technology community while WIT's mission is to support, motivate, and empower female technology professionals.

Together, TAG and WIT strive to nurture the growth of people and companies who are connected to technology, throughout the state of GA.

It's hard to fully quantify, but safe to say that WIT has made an indelible mark on the community while advancing the cause of women in technology throughout GA. By creating a series of events that facilitate the recognition of women, WIT has placed the spotlight on the quality work of the gender, thus generating an unprecedented level of awareness. Furthermore, thousands of women, through volunteering to work on WIT events, have had a chance to lead. Bravo to WIT… you are the best.

TAG has four primary goals at the time of this letter:

  1. To position and brand GA as a center of technology
  2. To support the growth of people and companies connected to technology
  3. To galvanize the technology community around common themes that produce a favorable impact on the GA technology community
  4. To be a world-class membership organization

The TAG/WIT relationship was founded on the belief that working together optimizes results. The bottom line is that jointly we positively impact people, companies, and the whole technology community.

Thank you WIT for being a great partner.
