Brenda's past service to WIT includes Director of Legal in 2006 and Assistant Director of Legal in 2005.

Brenda is a partner practicing in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group.  Her practice focuses on intellectual property management and procurement.  She assists clients in building and managing their patent portfolios.  Prior to joining the firm, Brenda was an engineer with IBM, working in the areas of system development and memory controller chip design.

Brenda graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and from Florida Atlantic University with a M.S. in Computer Engineering.  She received her Juris Doctorate, with high honors, from the University of Florida.  She was an associate editor of the Florida Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
