Carolyn Evans joins the WIT Foundation as Program Manager for Organizational Effectiveness.  In this position, she may draw on her 25 years experience in information technology in a variety of roles including software developer, business systems analyst, management, consulting, and sales.  Evan's prior experience includes Vice President of Technology and Director of Business Process for an Atlanta insurance company, Vice President/Operations and IT and President/CEO of Info Solutions, Inc., a customer relationship management technology service bureau for the Fortune 1000.  She is certified in Six Sigma Black Belt methodology and Lean Six Sigma, earning a Masters Certificate in Six Sigma from Villanova University and attended Connecticut College.

Evans was formerly General Manager of the Enterprise Content Management Software Practice for Syscom Technologies, Inc., and Director of Sales and Technical Support for PriceCompete.  She spent three years as an independent eBusiness technology consultant for business-to-business clients throughout the southeast, and one year a Lead Business Analyst for The Home Depot.  Evans holds a variety of technical, functional and sales certifications from Microsoft, IBM, leading software vendors and industry associations.

Her technology career began at McDonnell Douglas Automation in Long Beach, California, where she worked as a mainframe programmer/analyst and systems analyst on large development projects for Sundstrand, British Aerospace, Fokker Aircraft and Avco Lycoming.  She also served as senior programmer/analyst at Hartford Insurance Group.

Prior to her corporate career, Evans was a professional equestrian riding and training show hunters, jumpers and race horses attaining national junior ranking.  She holds a Black Belt in TaeKwonDo karate, runs, skis, and enjoys overseas travel with her teenage daughter, Chivaun.  They have been residents of metro Atlanta for over 7 years and currently reside in Marietta.
