Cassie Crist WIT Director of Finance Senior Accountant, Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP

Cassie is an auditor focusing on employee benefit plans and financial institutions.  As senior accountant, she is in charge of ensuring that audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner and controlling the quality of work performed.  She is also responsible for making sure that work performed by staff is in compliance with both accepted accounting practices and firm standards.

Prior to joining Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, Cassie was a staff accountant with BKD, LLP where she worked as an auditor for pension plans, financial institutions, not-for-profit and manufacturing companies.  She also performed tax work, including 1040 and corporate tax preparation as well as research and tax credit studies.

Cassie has a BS degree with a concentration in Accounting from Indiana University, Purdue University Fort Wayne.  She was a recipient of several awards there including Who's Who Among American College Students, Student Leader of the Year, the Thyssen Krupp Scholarship and the Roland Foundation Scholarship.
