Emily currently serves as Treasurer for both WIT, Inc. and the WIT Foundation.  She has served on the Board of WIT since 1999 and is responsible for creating the Director of Finance position.  She held that role from 1999 through 2004.

Ms. Suppe' is currently working for Neenah Paper, Inc., managing the company's Sarbanes-Oxley initiative.  Before that, she spent almost two years working for General Electric on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and enterprise risk management issues.  She was part of the GE Energy team responsible for the documentation, mapping, and testing of Oracle for Sarbanes-Oxley and is currently working with corporate on managing standardization and centralization of Oracle AP as it is implemented across the US and Europe.

She has an extensive background in system architecture, corporate finance, and strategic leadership.  Her career includes work as Partner & Chief Finance Officer for an early innovator auction portal where she was instrumental in establishing the organizational structure, negotiating Investment funding, and helping to move the business forward through to launch.  She was a Partner & CFO for a technology services consulting firm specializing in leadership training and change management support.

Prior to that Ms. Suppe' was Corporate Controller for an international software company, managing the accounting and human resource departments and completing the due diligence and financial transition during a reverse take-over by Canadian tech services firm.

After graduating from the University of Miami's School of Business, Ms. Suppe' worked for Norrell Corporation as a Finance Manager for a very profitable technology services division (TASCOR), providing custom technology solutions to clients like UPS and Fed Ex.  She helped blueprint and implement policies that increased the profit margin and added value through her understanding of network architecture and web-based technology.

Ms Suppe' has an MBA in Corporate Finance and a second graduate specialization in Network Architecture.  She has served as the Director of Finance for Women in Technology (1999-2004), Finance Chair for the Technology Association of Georgia, and is currently serving as Treasurer of Women in Technology, Inc, and the Women in Technology Foundation.  She enjoys running, Pilates, reading, and teaching aqua aerobics.
