Janet Turnure serves as WIT's Director of Volunteers and has served in this role since 2004.  In this role, she is responsible for recruiting volunteers for the variety of opportunities WIT offers within the WIT organization, the WIT Foundation and its events and initiatives.

Janet has a passion for building companies and furthering careers.  With over 10 years helping companies find and hire the best talent Janet has been able to offer her expertise to a variety of companies serving software development, finance, engineering, and healthcare.

In addition to serving her clientele, Janet has also found satisfaction in serving her industry by serving on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Association of Staffing Professionals, as a speaker at the National Association of Personnel Services Annual Convention, and most recently as the Director of Volunteers for Women in Technology.  Janet was brought to Spencer Reed Group to build their southern presence and has opened offices for them in Atlanta, GA and in Raleigh, NC.  Janet provides staffing, consulting, and training services and can be reached at Janet@spencerreed.com.
