Judi Vitale is WIT President for 2007. Formerly she served WIT as Vice President in 2006 and Director of Finance in 2005. She has been active in the organization for several years, serving on both the WIT and WIT Foundation boards.
Judi joined Indus in October of 2005 as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer where she manages the accounting and finance departments, including revenue recognition, SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, and cash management. Prior to Indus, she was with Firstwave Technologies, a demand generation and CRM software solutions provider, since March of 1985. She served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since September of 1996, and held various financial positions before that, including Vice President and Director of Finance and Administration, and Corporate Controller. Judi had been involved in the financial progress of Firstwave since its inception, including the initial public offering process, the acquisition of three companies, various bank lines of credit and preferred and private stock offerings, and SEC reporting. Prior to joining Firstwave, Judi was the Manager of Administration with a division of Informatics Software, specializing in accounting software, and now known as CLR Professional Software. She has over 25 years of experience in financial and operational management for software technology companies.
Besides serving as President on the Board of Directors of Women in Technology, Judi serves on the Board of Directors of the WIT Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Women in Technology. Judi is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia, GlobalExecWomen, Technology Executive Roundtable, American Electronics Association, and CXO High Tech Council. Judi graduated summa cum laude from Shorter College with a B.S. in Management.
