Julie Carlock serves as WIT's Assistant Director of Volunteers.  In this role, she assists the Director of Volunteers to recruit volunteers for the many opportunities WIT offers including the WIT organization, the WIT Foundation as well as its events and initiatives.  Julie has also served WIT as a committee chair for WIT Connect event in both 2005 and 2006.

Julie Carlock brings over 16 years of personal experience in technology sales and marketing that translates into a valuable talent: the ability to recruit and evaluate sales and marketing talent for technology companies.  As the founder and managing partner for Integrity Business Group, she brings a unique recruiting approach including comprehensive candidate evaluation and a performance-based fee structure.  Julie bridges the gap between her technology industry clients and successful candidates by knowing how and where to hire top sales and marketing talent—critical for smart revenue generation.

Her 16 year career includes sales, sales management, and marketing management with leaders in the technology industry.  Julie Carlock was vice president of business development for Scient (formerly iXL) where she led the sales of technology solutions for the manufacturing group. She also led the sales efforts for MarketVelocity (formerly TradeUps), an Atlanta provider of automated marketing solutions for technology companies.  Julie was also president of Harris-Eaton, a Denver-based provider of technology solutions for the retail industry, where she increased revenue by 150 percent.  Julie's extensive background includes sales executive positions at Perot Systems Corporation, marchFIRST (formerly USWeb/CKS), IBM, and AiC (Analysts International Corporation).
