Patricia Kirby Whitley

Currently, Patricia oversees many of the technology initiatives for her family's 18-year old business.  She has extensive technology sales, management and consulting experience honed during more than 17 years in various roles at Grant Thornton, most recently as Business Development Director of their large technology practice.  She also held increasingly responsible positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and McCall Technologies and the software firm, Knowlagent.

Patricia has been extremely active in the Atlanta community, serving on the Board of Directors and Management Team for Women in Technology.  She currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Greater Atlanta YWCA.  Patricia has also held board positions with the South East Medical Device Association (SEMDA), The Entrepreneurial Institute (TEI), and was a member of the Korean Chamber of Commerce.  She was active in the GA 1st Initiative and still assists TechBridge's Digital Ball fundraiser.  She participates in the Women in Finance, Media and Technology fundraising committee for The Atlanta Women's Foundation.  She helped develop and execute the "Partners in Education" program, a collaborative effort with ASTD to bring corporations into public schools.  She is also an active volunteer at the Atlanta Union Mission for Women, Junior Achievement and volunteers regularly at her sons' schools and their other extracurricular activities.

Patricia holds a Master's degree in organizational communication from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Appalachian State University.  She resides in Alpharetta with her husband and two sons.
