Sarah has been involved with WIT since 1999. For the first three years
she was on the Executive Advisory Board. Her particular area of focus has
been initiatives benefiting the entrepreneurial segment of WIT. She was
Vice President in 2004 and President in 2005. Now in 2006 Sarah will serve
on the WIT Board as Past President and Director of the WIT Foundation.
Sarah runs North American operations for Tescom, the global leader in software quality assurance and testing services. With more than 650 highly skilled software quality engineers, Tescom has been dedicated to helping clients reduce the risk and ensure the performance of software since 1990. In addition to her "local" responsibilities, Sarah is a key member of Tescom's corporate management team with responsibility to drive global human capital development initiatives. She has also served as the executive sponsor for the global deployment of CRM within Tescom and has most recently accepted the responsibility to initiate the evaluation of business development in China.
Prior to joining Tescom, Sarah was VP Business Development for Questcon Technologies, a software quality assurance and testing company. Previous roles include the founding of four different entrepreneurial companies. These include a manufacturer of specialty blankets for the children's accessory and sporting goods markets, a venture capital backed software enterprise, an executive search and human resources consulting company, and a corporate research firm. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Sarah held leadership positions in Management Consulting and Executive Search.
Over the years, Sarah has been a regular columnist and speaker on the effective use of technology and human capital in high growth environments. I addition to her involvement with WIT, Sarah has also served on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia, on the Advisory Board for the Government Technology Conference, and on the Economic Development Committee of the Georgia Electronic Commerce Association. Sarah was recognized by Working Woman Magazine in their 1999 Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards.
Sarah graduated from the University of Michigan Honors College with a degree in Chinese Studies and International Business. She has lived and traveled abroad extensively, and now resides with her husband, three children and a variety of pets in Atlanta. She spends most of her free time on the sidelines of her children's soccer and baseball games.
