Shelley Hammell serves as the Chair for WIT's Executive Coaching Program.  In this role, Shelley and her team will lead a unique, intensive six-part program, which provides participants with the tools necessary to enhance their visibility and speed their success.  This program prepares women on the fast track to become better known by creating a personal strategy and positioning themselves in the context of their company and goals.  This is Shelley's second year on the Board serving in the same capacity as in 2005.

Shelley is President of Sage Alliance, Inc., an executive coaching firm, and brings 20 years of practical business experience and executive management working for small, mid-size and large companies in sales and marketing in the technology sector.  Hammell has established a successful career in both start-up companies and more renowned organizations such as Agilisys, HiddenMind, Telstra, CheckFree, BellSouth, MCI and NCR.

Shelley's corporate career has included working with a range of organizations including banks, brokerage firms, insurance companies, manufacturers and healthcare facilities.  Shelley's career has spanned the full breadth of sales and marketing including launching new companies, brands and products.  As a business executive in corporate America, Shelley has hired, trained and led cross functional teams of various sizes and understands the importance of tying business strategy to execution to empower employees and businesses to achieve their goals.

Shelley received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.  She is a two-time winner of the Georgia State MAX award for marketing innovation.  Shelley is an active member in TAG's Entrepreneurial Forum, Global Exec Women, Business Marketing Association, Georgia Coach Association, Georgia 1st Initiative and The Samaritan House of Atlanta.
