Victoria Albee serves as the Vice President for the WIT Foundation. Prior to her current board position, Albee has served the WIT Foundation as the director of strategy and the director of its largest philanthropic program, Girls Get I.T.
Ms. Albee is an independent business strategist specializing in designing and communicating enterprise strategies for integrating technology and business services. Her career focus is working with boards and executive teams to ensure alignment of executive operations, communications, and development strategies around business goals. Albee has developed policy and processes which ensure standards alignment within the education, government, and private business sectors. She is frequently called upon to build strategic presentations for sales, design, and technology integration efforts.
Albee is currently an adjunct professor at the Shorter College School of Business and Georgia Perimeter College. She served in the executive office of the Georgia Technology Authority, on the e-strategy team that developed statewide strategies, policies and managed engagements related to the implementation of Georgia's enterprise portal.
Previously, Albee served the University System of Georgia for nearly ten years. First a popular mathematics faculty member, she later worked in various administrative positions with strong management consulting components, culminating in her appointment as director of business and educational services at the third largest institution in the system, Georgia Perimeter College (GPC). She established a technology focus in continuing education at GPC, including the online course program and highly successful technology-based marketing strategies.
Albee holds an honors level bachelor's degree in mathematics and biochemistry from Mercer University, a master's degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Georgia Tech and certificate in online teaching from the University of California Berkeley Extension. She was also a Clare Booth Luce graduate fellow in mathematics at Emory University. She is an active member of the Technology Association of Georgia and the Institute of Management Consultants.
