Panel Discussion on Creative Leadership Meet the high achievers that were honored at WIT's 2007 Women of the Year in Technology Awards. Here's your chance to hear first hand what makes these women truly examples of 'women going above and beyond' as the finalists and winners join WIT for a panel discussion on Creative Leadership. Moderated by WIT President, Judi Vitale, the panel includes WIT Women of the Year in Technology Winners and finalists,
They will explore the issues technology leaders face today and how they have been creatively addressed in their respective organizations. There will be ample time for questions, so come prepared. You'll learn what makes these women so special and how you can put some of their ideas into practice to move your career along.

Judi Vitale is WIT President for 2007. Formerly she served WIT as Vice President in 2006 and Director of Finance in 2005. She has been active in the organization for several years, serving on both the WIT and WIT Foundation boards. Judi joined Indus in October of 2005 as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer where she manages the accounting and finance departments, including revenue recognition, SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, and cash management. Prior to Indus, she was with Firstwave Technologies, a demand generation and CRM software solutions provider, since March of 1985. She served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since September of 1996, and held various financial positions before that, including Vice President and Director of Finance and Administration, and Corporate Controller. Judi had been involved in the financial progress of Firstwave since its inception, including the initial public offering process, the acquisition of three companies, various bank lines of credit and preferred and private stock offerings, and SEC reporting. Prior to joining Firstwave, Judi was the Manager of Administration with a division of Informatics Software, specializing in accounting software, and now known as CLR Professional Software. She has over 25 years of experience in financial and operational management for software technology companies. Besides serving as President on the Board of Directors of Women in Technology, Judi serves on the Board of Directors of the WIT Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Women in Technology. Judi is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia, GlobalExecWomen, Technology Executive Roundtable, American Electronics Association, and CXO High Tech Council. Judi graduated summa cum laude from Shorter College with a B.S. in Management.

Anna came to Nexidia from Jacada Inc, the world's leading provider of legacy integration and web-to-host solutions where she held the position of Vice President of Marketing. During her 7-year tenure with Jacada, Anna was instrumental in establishing business development and worldwide marketing functions as well as helping prime Jacada for a successful IPO in October 1999. Prior to Jacada, Anna served as Marketing Director for Unibol, in both the United States and throughout Europe. Anna is a graduate of IBM's EMEA FastTrack program and has held various Sales and Marketing positions with the IBM Corporation. Anna holds a BA (Hons.) Business Studies from the University of Ulster, Belfast Northern Ireland; a L.de M (Masters) International Business Studies from the Universite Louvain la Neuve, Brussels, Belgium; and professional accreditations in the areas of export marketing, market research and marketing management.
Kristin is the Director of Process Improvement for DeKalb County, Georgia, at which she facilitates the design, analysis, development, business process re-engineering and production of varied governmental projects. She is currently the director of two nationwide technology projects: The implementation of a comprehensive 311 System and Criminal Justice Information Sharing, (CJIS). Her career in government began as a Police Officer and led to Administration working for a County Manager as a Management Assistant. She is also a former Security Inspector for two Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear research facilities focusing on counter-terrorism preparedness. Kristin has an undergraduate degree in Administration of Justice from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas and a graduate degree in Public Finance from Rockefeller College, the Public Affairs and Policy School of the State University of New York in Albany, New York. She is on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Justice Information Systems, (NAJIS), under the direction of the University of New Orleans, is an instructor for the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) sponsored course "Managing Criminal Justice Technology in the 21st Century" and is an instructor for the Government Finance Officer's Association, (GFOA), in a Constituent Relationship Management, (CRM) course. She has been a keynote or presenter at justice information and technology conferences on criminal justice information sharing (CJIS), 311 development (and CRM) and disaster preparedness in local government. She is also a contributing author in a book titled: "First to Arrive: State and Local Responses to Terrorism." Kristin was elected four times (serving eight years) as House District Chairman in the largest State House District in Georgia.
Marianne Johnson is senior vice president of Global Marketing Services Platforms for Equifax Inc. Working closely with Equifax's chief information officer, Marianne is responsible for fulfilling the software development lifecycle and operating supercomputing parallel processing centers that deliver business intelligence solutions to customers worldwide. Since joining Equifax in 1996, Marianne has held a number of leadership positions across the enterprise. Recently, she served as Vice President of Equifax Enabling Technologies, and through her leadership Enabling Technologies has generated double-digit revenue growth in just four years. Marianne also served as the Assistant Vice President of Equifax Decision Power Business Development and a Senior Director of Equifax Business Solutions at which she was recognized with one of the company's most coveted technology accolades—the GEM Award. A 19-year technology veteran, Marianne assumed management roles earlier in her career with marquee companies in the healthcare industry, including Advanced Receivables Strategy, Inc. and Medaphis Corporation. At ARS, she was the Operations Officer responsible for launching a new division of active hospital receivables. During her tenure at Medaphis, Marianne led the consolidated business operations of four hospitals. Marianne is an active member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the Hospital Financial Management Association (HFMA), Women in Technology (WIT) and GlobalEXECWomen and was a 2006 Equifax Ambassador for the United Way. She is a graduate of Barry University in Miami, Florida.
Marie Mouchet is vice president and chief information officer for Southern Company Generation and chief information officer for Southern Nuclear and Southern Power, where she leads the development and implementation of IT strategy and operations across the generation business. Her role provides strategic and tactical planning and direction for new plant acquisitions, new nuclear plant developments, a real-time trading floor and the engineering and construction organization. Mouchet has served in leadership positions within Southern Company for more than 25 years, and has experience across all Southern Company business lines, including regulatory, financial services, public relations, marketing, sales and generation. In her roles, she has led the development of organizational structures, established and revised business processes and developed and implemented strategies. Mouchet holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in mathematics education from Georgia State University. She serves on the community awareness committee for the board of directors of Sheltering Arms Child Development. She has been a mentor in the Georgia 100 program and participated in several Southern Company leadership programs. In 2004, she was selected by the International Women's Forum as one of 14 women worldwide to participate in the Leadership Foundation Program, an internationally acclaimed training and personal development program.
Terry Trout brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to her role as vice president of customer experience for Cbeyond at which she is responsible for customer care, service delivery, technical support, collections and operations training. Previously, in her role as vice president of corporate communications, Terry led the development of CbeyondOnline, an online account management tool that simplifies bill payment and gives customers complete control of their account. She also launched Cbeyond's community service program enabling Cbeyond employees to give back to the communities where they work and live. Prior to joining Cbeyond, Terry was vice president of marketing communications for Intermedia Communications, an integrated communications provider. Previously, she was vice president of East Coast operations and corporate marketing for Marcone Appliance Parts Center, the nation's fastest-growing distributor of repair parts. In this role, Terry helped lead the company's start-up, acquisition and restructuring initiatives. Terry has been honored by the following awards: 1st 6 time winner of General Electric's Standard of Excellence Award, Maytag's Legacy Award for Customer Service, and a 2nd time winner of the Whirlpool Award of Excellence.
