Mary Welch is editor of Atlanta Woman magazine, the premier magazine for business woman in Atlanta. A graduate of Russell Sage College in Troy, N.Y., Mary started her journalism career at the Port Jervis, N.Y., Union-Gazette before she ventured South. After a stint at the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, she went back to journalism, joining the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 1984 where she covered marketing and advertising. She left in 1992 when her son, Grady, was born. For several years she freelanced before working in public relations at Bank of America. She joined Leader Publishing as editor of Business to Business magazine in 2004 and was named editor of Atlanta Woman in October 2006. She wrote a book, "Forever Green: The History and Future of the American Forest," with Chuck Leavell, the keyboardist of The Rolling Stones, so she could meet Keith Richards, which she did. Mary and her husband, Ralph McGill Jr., have one son and two golden retrievers, one of which was recently rescued. They live in Virginia-Highlands.

As Director of Customer Support for IBM Internet Security Systems, Foster is responsible for the day to day operations of the worldwide customer support group located in Atlanta, GA. With more than 25 years of IT, global business and customer operations experience, Foster is responsible for providing global technical support to more than 12,000 customers. Prior to joining Internet Security Systems, Foster held senior management positions with Computer Jobs.com, Clarus Corporation and D&B Software.
As Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, Marian Lucia has overall responsibility for IT strategy, execution and support, and business continuity and information security. Prior to joining the Bank, Lucia served as Corporate Vice President, Operations and Systems, of Prudential Institutional. As an active member of the community, Ms. Lucia serves on the advisory board of Pennsylvania State University's Women in Science and Engineering, the Gwinnett Technology Forum, WIT and Gwinnett Technical College's CIS Program.
Kogon founded the company in 1997 and continues to be integral in day-to-day activities. Under his leadership, Definition 6 has created over $10B in revenue for clients and forged partnerships with industry leaders, Microsoft and Google. It has been recognized as a "Best Place to Work in Georgia 2006" by Georgia Trend and Kogon was named one of the Entrepreneurs of the Year by Catalyst Magazine and was awarded the 2004 Small Business Person of the Year Award by the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He was also listed as one of the Up and Comers "Under 40 and Rising - 50 of Atlanta's Most Promising Young Stars" in the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Kogon serves on the boards of the Atlanta Jewish Federation and the American Israel Policy Advisory Committee. He is active in the United Way, Woodruff Arts Center, Children's Hospital, and was the Chairman of the 2005 and 2006 Bob Strickland Memorial Golf Classic benefiting the Arthritis Foundation.
Brian P. Shield is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of The Weather Channel, Inc., a position he has held since joining the company in 1998. Shield oversees all technology infrastructure, internal systems, weather forecasting capabilities, technical and broadcast operations, and the implementation of industry leading technology products and services. He also heads up software engineering efforts, which include the design and delivery of all TWC technology products and services. Shield came to The Weather Channel from FTD, Inc., where he served as Chief Technology Officer of FTD, Inc. and ftd.com.
