Women In Technology Announces October 19, 2005 - ATLANTA, GA - Women in Technology (WIT), the leading association committed to the development of Georgia's businesswomen in the technology industry and a society of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), today announced its 2005 finalists for the WIT's Best Employers in Georgia Awards, sponsored by Platinum sponsor, Microsoft (NASDAQ "MSFT"). WIT's Best Employers in Georgia Awards, now in its fourth year, recognizes companies with programs and initiatives to provide opportunities for professional growth and leadership for talented female professionals. Three finalist companies are chosen in each category of Enterprise Class Organizations and Midsize Class Organizations. "Microsoft is pleased to be this year's Platinum sponsor and to support this award to recognize corporate programs that elevate the role and potential of women in leadership," said Microsoft Greater Southeast District General Manager Kirsten Kliphouse. "We embrace and support the philosophy of not just recognizing what talented women can bring to an organization, but also offering a true opportunity for them to excel." The 2005 Finalists for WIT's Best Employers in Georgia Awards are: Midsize Class (annual revenue greater than $100 million and less than $1 billion)
Enterprise Class (annual revenue greater than $1 billion)
