Patti Dismukes and Margot King Accept Position as 2006 Chairs
of 12th Annual WIT Connect™

Sponsorships for this High Profile Event Now Available

April 10, 2006 - ATLANTA, GA - Women in Technology (WIT), the leading association committed to the development of Georgia's businesswomen in the technology industry, today announced that Patti Dismukes, COO, and Margot King, CEO, both of OnSite Recruit, have accepted the position of co-chairwomen of WIT Connect '06.  WIT Connect is the executive auction and fundraising event that supports the philanthropic initiatives of WIT and the WIT Foundation, WIT on Track and Girls Get IT.

At WIT Connect, companies and individuals bid in silent and live auctions for one-on-one lunches with more than 40 decision-makers representing many of Georgia's leading companies.  Last year's executives were responsible for allocating more than $2.5 billion in budgets, making it clear why the ability to meet these individuals face-to-face is such a valuable opportunity for any company.

Ms. Dismukes and King have already begun working to recruit a team of volunteers and sponsors, both vital to the success of WIT Connect '06.  Their goals are to build upon the success of this great event, now in its 12th year, to raise even more money to support WIT programming and philanthropy.  Their established relationships with top executives throughout the region are sure to prove to be a great asset to the organization.

"We are excited to welcome Patti and Margo as chairs of this year's program," stated Marsha Calfee, president of Women in Technology and director of CRM Delivery at NetBank.  "WIT Connect is such a vital event for us and their energy and experience are a great asset.  In our initial meeting, they shared their vision for making the 12th WIT Connect the most successful yet! Their service as this year's chairs further demonstrates their commitment to helping women succeed in our industry."

In commenting on her position as co-chairwoman, Dismukes stated: "WIT has a great track record with WIT Connect.  It was WIT's first event and has continued to grow in size and draw.  It offers executives in our community a way to make a positive contribution to a very worthy cause and directly support an exceptionally strong portfolio of programs that help fast track women's careers to the executive level in IT.  I look forward to contributing to WIT Connect '06, and ensuring that great programs like the WIT Foundation's Girls Get IT and Women on Track continue."

"At OnSite Recruit, we recognize the importance of having women at the executive level, and our recruiting efforts are often geared to that end.  Looking at the trends in college graduation rates, it is clear that more young women need to be drawn into careers in technology.  We are thrilled to be a part of WIT Connect '06 which will fuel WIT's efforts to push young women towards occupations in our industry," added King.
