WIT Foundation Awards Scholarship to
Kennesaw State University Masters Student

Shreedevi Inamdar utilized the scholarship to present her paper at
the Software Engineering Research and Practices Conference

October 4, 2006 - ATLANTA, GA - The WIT Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Women in Technology (WIT), the leading association committed to the development of Georgia's businesswomen in the technology industry, today announced that it had awarded a scholarship to Shreedevi "Shree" Inamdar, a Kennesaw State University student in the Masters in Applied Computer Science program. Inamdar utilized the scholarship money to travel to the Software Engineering Research and Practices Conference in Las Vegas to present her paper during the conference.

Inamdar's paper, "Critical Systems and Software Risk to Public Safety" was presented at the prestigious conference.  She approached the WIT Foundation for the scholarship in order to take advantage of the opportunity to present her work. "The WIT Foundation is committed to supporting women who want to utilize their talent to make changes in the technology field," said Inamdar.  "This type of support enables us to excel into the world of technology."
