Women In Technology (WIT) Presents "The Power to Connect", Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre

Women in Technology (WIT), the leading association devoted to the advancement of women in the technology industry announces that WIT Connect will be held in April at the new Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Wednesday, April 30th at 5:00 PM. Now in its 14th year, WIT Connect has established a tradition of bringing together the leaders of Georgia's technology community for an evening of fun and fundraising. Featuring a unique auction format where decision makers representing the top companies in Georgia volunteer to meet personally with the highest bidder, the proceeds from the evening support WIT programs like Executive Coaching, scholarships and Girls Get IT.

Executive teams from Georgia's most recognized companies like AT&T, Autotrader.com, ChoicePoint, The Coca-Cola Company, CompuCredit, Delta Airlines, Equifax, The Home Depot, Intercontinental Hotels Group and Southern Company are among the many who participate.

"The Power to Connect" is a great example of what WIT Connect means to the technology community. Besides being WIT's flagship event and our only fundraiser, it offers incredible opportunities for companies and individuals to meet with hard to reach executives," explained Anna Convery, Co-Chair of WIT Connect.

"It's an opportunity for the technology community to come together for an entertaining evening that supports the future of our industry," added Kasie Scott Palmer, Co-Chair. "We hope to make this year's event even better and are very excited to introduce the new Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre to our supporters." Some sponsorship opportunities are still available.
