Georgia's Technology community gathers to network, celebrate and recognize outstanding achievement at WIT events.

Moving to the Fall in 2008, WIT's Women of the Year in Technology, presented by Grant Thornton,  recognizes women who are outstanding in their careers and service to their community.  2007 winners were Marie Mouchet, Southern Company Nuclear; Terry Trout, Cbeyond; and Anna Convery, Nexidia.

Over 600 movers in the technology industry gathered during the summer to support WIT Connect.  Here, executives from leading companies donate a lunch which is auctioned off to individuals and companies who would like to have a few minutes to spend with these power brokers.  On June 21, 2006, WIT Connect raised over $280,000 to support WIT and WIT Foundation initiatives, Girls Get IT and WIT on Track.
