Robert C. Bennett was named Executive Vice President and Chief Information Office of HomeBanc Mortgage Corporation in 1998.  As the corporation's first CIO, Bennett is responsible for all of HomeBanc's information technology and e-commerce programs.  As HomeBanc continues its rapid growth, he is also charged with developing strategies to enhance communications and support for its customers and partners.  Bennett joined HomeBanc from BellSouth Corporation, where he was Vice President for Corporate Systems Development at BellSouth Information Systems.
