WIT Connect Raffles

WIT Connect '06 offered chances to win, even if you were not the high bidder.  A treasure trove of items was raffled off during the Live Auction.  Tickets were available online and you did not have to be present to win.

Big Trophy Fish

For the first time ever, the meeting with one of our high powered auction candidates is up for grabs!  Only $100 purchased a chance to win a one-on-one meeting with BellSouth CIO, Fran Dramis.  In the past, bidders have spent 10-20 times that amount for a lunch with Mr. Dramis, but raffle entries could land the same catch with only a $100 contribution!  And the winner is assured of hours of quality time with Mr. Dramis - he will host the winner of the WIT Connect Raffle for a round of golf at the Country Club of the South .

Francis "Fran" Dramis is Chief Information, eCommerce and Security Officer for BellSouth Corporation.  Dramis is responsible for all of BellSouth's information technologies, directing the company's eCommerce initiatives, and overseeing its business continuity and security efforts.  Considered by many to be one of the country's leading IT officers, Dramis has received CIO Magazine's "Top 100 Leaders for the Next Millennium," Computerworld's "Premier 100 IT Leaders" (1990 and 2002), and CIO Magazine's "CIO 100".  Under his leadership, BellSouth's IT and Security organizations have received Computerworld's "100 Best Places to Work in IT" (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005) including the prestigious "Top 10 in Diversity" category in 2004, SecurE-Biz's Leadership Award, InformationWeek "500 Most Innovative Users of Technology" (Ranked #10 in 2005), and CIO Magazine's" Enterprise Value Award" in 2005.

Silent Auction Catch

Each minimum bid of $50 in the silent auction, netted an entry into the raffle for tickets to the Georgia Aquarium.  There were 20 winners of 2-ticket packages to the Aquarium announced the night of the Live Auction.

Sunken Treasure Chest

There were Treasures Under the Sea!  Only $25, brought a chance to win valuable prizes including entertainment packages, airline tickets, get-aways and more.  For a donation of only $25, your name could have been placed in our raffle for great prizes.  Check back next Spring to see what's in the WIT Connect '07 Treasure Chest.
