WIT Connect ‘08 Schedule

5:00 pm – 6:15 pm VIP Reception for Auction Candidates and Sponsors For 2008 we’re bringing new energy to the VIP reception. The Cobb Energy Center’s exclusive VIP area has been set aside for this event which runs from 5:00-6:15PM on April 30th, concurrent with the networking portion of WIT Connect. We’ve planned wonderful food, fun and an agenda, so make sure you’ve marked your calendar and plan to attend. You will receive your invitation to our exclusive VIP reception about two weeks prior to the event. It will include instructions on valet parking, a benefit we’re providing our honored guests.

6:15 pm – 7:30 pm Dinner & Auction

Before the Live Auction begins, attendees enjoy networking with leaders in the Atlanta technology community, drinks and a delicious dinner. Billed as the best networking event in the technology community, this is the time when the both the Live and Silent Auction candidates infuse electricity into the evening, mingling with the crowd to spur interest in bidding.

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm WIT Connect Silent Auction

A runaway hit in 2007, the Silent Auction begins early and continues through the start of the Live Auction. Silent Auction candidate bids typically begin around $500 providing an opportunity for bidders to compete for executive meetings regardless of the size of their budget.

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm WIT Connect Live Auction

With 500+ guests expected and professional auctioneers, the Live Auction offers fun, entertainment and the majority of the fundraising for WIT’s programs in 2008. Live Auction candidate teams are invited to step up to the stage, interact with the audience and raise the bidding. As a member of a Live Auction team, we know you’re eager for details on what is expected of you and your company. WIT will supply more details approximately three weeks in advance of the event.

Rest assured, you’ll receive pointers on the best ways to help raise the stakes as well as assist you in reaching out to your vendors to encourage them to come and bid on you.
