"We are pleased that NetBank has agreed to provide this unique look into the technology side of their business," said Tana Glassford, Girls Get IT Director, WIT Foundation. "This is a wonderful opportunity to educate young women who are about to make decisions about colleges and courses of study to open their eyes to a career path they may have not otherwise thought of."
Through partnerships with Georgia businesses such as the Weather Channel, CISCO, Playmotion!, MARTA, Kaiser Permanente and IBM, Girls Get IT has showcased the types of careers that are available to those who major in math or science. Girls Get IT seeks to show girls different aspects of a variety of careers in technology or careers where technology is a major enabler.
